“We are doing a lot of functional strength exercises. Mainly building her base to lift heavier weights and doing a lot of variety on movements to get her prepared for anything. This is for her to build muscles and tone her body,” he shared.

Her regimen also includes anaerobic sports like tennis—which she often plays a lot on her off days. So, even when she’s taking a break from the gym grind, she keeps the excitement in her routine rolling!

Warm-up: A 3-5 minute jog on the treadmill to get the blood flowing

Dynamic Stretching: Prepping the body for the movement of the day

Strength Training: Big compound lifts like squats, deadlifts, and hip thrusts

Accessory Work: Targeted exercises for different muscle groups

Conditioning: Higher intensity level of workouts

Core Work: Essential abdominal-focused moves

Cooldown: Ending with stretches to bring the body back to a calm state

Her diet plan

Fitness isn’t just about what happens in the gym, it’s also about what goes on the plate. Mauro emphasized that Kathryn follows a simple, low-carb, high-protein meal plan with a focus on high-quality and nutrient-dense foods as a rule.

“She sometimes does some juicing days when she feels she has eaten too much junk. I’d say Kathryn is disciplined enough to know when she can and cannot eat because often she has to prepare for something,” he divulged.

For Kathryn, it’s a matter of balance. While staying committed to her goals, she occasionally rewards herself with comfort food after a long day—because even fitness queens deserve a little indulgence now and then!

Mauro also has a few tips for anyone looking to follow in her footsteps. “Just make time for yourself and be consistent next thing you know this becomes a habit and eventually will lead to you reaching your fitness goals,” he put it.
